Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture autumn - winter 2022/2023

The Paris Fashion Week dedicated to the Haute Couture autumn/winter 2022/2023 collections began just a few days ago.

The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode shared the streaming of the fashion shows, which could also be followed on the brands' own social and YouTube channels. Already on Sunday evening, three brands decided to parade ahead of the others on the official dates of the Paris Haute Couture 2022/2023; we are talking about: Paco Rabanne, Patou and Alaïa, kicking off the long-awaited couture week with two Ready-to-Wear shows and one Resort 2023.

But let's see what the events of this fashion week were: the first brand to open the dances at the French schedule is Schiaparelli with Daniel Roseberry, who continues to bring to the catwalks his surreal language to which he has accustomed us, with black dresses and gold jewellery, the two predominant colours.
This was followed by Iris Van Herpen, Christian Dior and Giambattista Valli who closed the first day of couture week. Opening the second day was Chanel, with Giorgio Armani Privè closing. The third day will see the second Balenciaga couture fashion show, which for the event will also open a new boutique in avenue George V, also in Paris, where some looks from the show will be on sale. Also on Wednesday, all eyes will be on Jean-Paul Gaultier. Then Maison Margiela will close the third day. For the last day of Haute Couture, Fendi in particular awaits us, surrounded by a series of smaller brands.

Paris Fashion Week is one of the most eagerly awaited weeks of the year, with editors, celebrities and fans from all over the world gathering in Paris for the occasion.

From Monday 4 to Thursday 7 July, Paris is dressed in haute couture, in the autumn-winter 2022\2023 collections of the fashion houses that every year give us a dream called Couture.

The brands that take the catwalk are the subject of most interest, but let's just say that the guests they choose to invite are no less interesting! Let us mention a few:

Amina Muaddi, the most popular shoe designer, has over the years reinvented the shoe wardrobe of millions of women with her square toe heel, shimmering details and allure of femininity.

Chiara Ferragni, digital entrepreneur, CEO of Chiara Ferragni Brand, her personal brand of clothes and accessories. Chiara is always looking for bold and striking looks, as in this case in a Schiapprelli total look at the fashion show.

Star-loved stylist Law Roach, creator of Zendaya's rebranding, was declared most influential stylist of the year in 2021 by the Hollywood Reporter. Law, boasts clients such as Anya Taylor-Joy, Celine Dion, Kerry Washington and Euphoria co-star Hunter Schaffer. With his discerning eye, and a vision that goes beyond luxury, Law has managed to revolutionise the image of his clients with an idealistic and never mundane approach.

And finally, Rossy di Palma called the Picasso lady for her distinctive and non-canonical features, has created an image for herself that still makes her one of the most anticipated guests during Couture week. Bold and original, she has made sunglasses her trademark, which she skilfully combines with dramatic looks with a strong Mediterranean influence.

There are not a few daring outfits to be found in Paris these days, but the most coveted question is: what style will next season bring us?
And what about you? Did you follow the fashion show? Who knows if more surprises are in store for us from our beloved designers!
